Prof. Shahar Kvatinsky, Loai Daniel, and Nicolas Wainstein have presented a tutorial at IEEE International Symposium on Circuits & Systems (ISCAS) on May 27-30 in Florence, Italy. This tutorial focused on the use of memristors in mixed-signal and analog circuits and consisted of three parts: 1.explaining the basic properties of memristors and the state-of-the-art devices and applications. 2. Showing how memristors can be used as radiofrequency (RF) switches and their use in RF circuits. 3. Describing the use of memristors in intelligent data conversion circuits for reconfigurable digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital systems. This tutorial took advantage of basic circuit theory principles to design novel integrated circuits and systems using emerging electron devices.
